Proximity to walking trail, ample outlets for charging, spacious room layout

Housekeeping could improve on thoroughness, hidden fees were frustrating, nearby dining options were lacking!!! Overall, minor issues could lead to a more satisfying experience!!!

During my stay at the Hampton Inn in Gretna, I found the large room very comfortable and clean. The updated furniture and bright color palette really made the space feel welcoming. Having a free breakfast served from 5:30 to 10:00 am was a delightful perk, and the staff at breakfast were friendly, serving up hot biscuits, gravy, and a variety of juices. Access to coffee around the clock in the lobby was nice too. However, I faced some noise disturbances from loud guests and a couple of maintenance issues in my room like peeling paint by the thermostat and a food stain on the carpet. Despite these concerns, the staff made numerous attempts to address my issues, which I appreciated. The location near the highway and close to Mama Rosa's restaurant across the lot was a big plus for meals.

I had a delightful stay at Hampton Inn Gretna, Smith Mountain Lake. The staff were incredibly friendly, particularly Pat at breakfast, who served delicious options and brightened my mornings. The room was clean, and I appreciated the nearby walking areas for my dog.

The room was clean and had a really comfy bed that made for a great night’s sleep. I loved chilling by the outdoor pool and soaking up some sun on the loungers. It would’ve been nice to have a few more dining options close by, but overall, I had a fab time here! 😊

I had a great experience at hampton inn during my overnight stay. The beds were super comfy, and the staff went out of their way to help with our issue regarding pricing. Breakfast was solid and well stocked, which really exceeded my expectations.

Oh my gosh, our stay was, like, totally chill! Super comfy bed, and the staff were, like, beyond friendly. Had a great time at the pool catching some rays, but it was crazy hot, so shade would’ve been, like, awesome. Breakfast could use a boost though, just sayin'!
